Excavator Kit | R60.00

Build a model of an excavator. To help the learner with the task templates of the parts are included. The templates should be cut out and traced onto recycled cardboard. To complete the task the parts must be cut out and used with the components included in the package.

Along with the components in the kit, you will also receive an instruction and cardboard cut-out sheets with your purchase (PDF format).

Cellular Tower Kit | R160.00

The task involves designing and making a model of a cellular tower. Cellular towers are structures with antennas and electronic communication equipment that enable wireless communication devices like cell phones to connect to a cellular network. The example shown is a tower that is made of a series of triangles of equal-size and alternating compression and tension diagonals. The kit consists of a number of wooden components that can be joined using wood glue or contact glue. It is recommended that the model should not be higher than 405mm.

Build a Bridge Kit. A model of Warren truss bridge. The kit consists of a number of wooden components that can be joined by means of wood glue. It is recommended that the model should not be longer than 500mm.
